WHAT TO EAT & DRINK BEFORE EXAMS
Keep hydrated before and during an exam to help you stay alert
It is important that you eat well balanced meals before your exams. This will help you to focus and remain alert for the entirety of the exam.
ENJOY A HEALTHY BREAKFAST
Everyone says breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this is particularly important when you are going to need to stay focussed for a long period of time
Eat lots of foods high in protein like yoghurt, eggs, nuts or cheese.
Try not to over eat as it can make you feel quite bloated.
IF YOU GET HUNGRY BEFORE YOUR EXAM....
Have a healthy snack on hand such as fruit or nuts. AVOID drinking coffee before exams.
This includes any drinks such as Red Bull that are caffeine loaded. This stimulant will only last a very short time and then it is usually difficult to focus right in the middle of your exam
Avoid really sugary food & drink such as lollies, chocolate, cakes, coke or cordials as these will also only give you a boost for a very short time before you feel sluggish.
